These terms and conditions apply to the services available from the www.froggybids.co.uk website. Your use of our services is governed by the following terms and conditions, (“User Agreement"). Before you can become a member of froggybids.com, you must read and accept all of the terms and conditions of this User Agreement.

The User Agreement is valid from 01 April 2009 and comes into effect for all new users. This document constitutes a legally binding agreement between the User and us (froggybids.com).
 
Eligibility and Registration
You may not use this website if you are under the age of 18 or you are not able to form a legally binding contract. Each user may register only once under their postal address. During the registration process, the user must choose a user name. froggybids.com has the right to change or delete the user name if it finds any user name offensive. The associated password is to be kept secret by the User. In general, the User shall be liable for all activities that are undertaken using the user account together with the associated password.

Please note, for security reasons we cannot accept P.O Boxes (you must use a full UK postal address)

froggybids.com can at any time temporarily or to permanently disqualify a User. Users will be disqualified when it is believed that a member has violated statutory provisions or the rights of third parties. A disqualification can also occur if froggybids.com has another justified interest. For example, for the protection of other Users, or to prevent manipulation, in particular if bids are not paid, if unauthorised bidding software is used, or several user accounts are set up by the same User. froggybids.co.uk reserves the right in its absolute discretion to restrict the number of sales in which a User may participate in or may win.
 
Bid Purchasing for Online Bidding/Payment
Bidding rights, called “bids” have to be purchased by users prior to bidding. Only registered users have the right to submit bids on the froggybids.co.uk website. These bids can be purchased in packages (called “Bid Packages”). The bids must be paid for in advance. Purchased Bid Packages are non refundable. Payment can be made via PayPal, who now take debit and credit cards. A contract for the purchase of the bids is in force as soon as the bids are purchased and deposited into the user’s account. In the event of any payment not being honoured froggybids.co.uk reserve the right to suspend access to the user’s account until payment of the invoice amount is received in full and/or take further action to recover any losses.  If we set a reserve price on any of our auctions and the reserve price is not met we may extend the auction or close the auction, In the event we close the auction all bidders will receive a refund of their credits to use on other auctions.

Bidding/Bid Buddies
Bidding can be conducted by the user clicking the “bid” button on the website, or “Bid Buddies can be setup to bid on the User’s behalf. Once a bid is submitted it is deducted from the User’s account.
The Bid Buddies system to which each user has access gives users the ability to bid on items even if they are not online. The bid buddy automatically submits bids according to the specifications set in advance by the User.
The User is prohibited from using bidding software not authorised by froggybids.co.uk and doing so will result in immediate disqualification from use.
 
The Bidding Process
When a user submits a bid either by clicking the “bid” button or using the bid buddy system, the price of the item will increase by at least 1 pence (depending on auction), whilst most of our auctions are 1 pence auctions, we do run higher price auctions, these are clearly stated in the "Description" of the items, this ensures the members of froggybids.co.uk bids, receive maximum savings on the item.
A bid submitted by the User constitutes an offer from that User to froggybids.co.uk3 to conclude a contract to purchase the item. A contract to purchase the item does not come into effect until the auction is finished and the last bidder has paid for the item in full, either by using credits from previous unsuccessful auctions or PayPal. When a new bid is placed the time left for the auction to run increases by typically 30 seconds, just like you would see in a real auction room.
froggybids.co.uk reserve the right to change the auction times at any time and to add or remove products from the froggybids.co.uk website.
The auction ends when no more bids are submitted within the remaining time stated. The User who is the last to bid wins the product. There will be no refund for all other bids placed when the auction is finished. The last bidder is determined by what data is shown on the froggybids.co.uk database. Our decision is final on who the last bidder was.
Should a technical problem occur which may affect the froggybids.co.uk auction the countdown timers for all live auctions will be paused until the issue has been resolved. Auctions will continue as the system is brought back up. The auctions will be restarted from the same time they were prior to the technical problem. Alternatively, froggybids.co.uk holds the right to restart all auctions, when the technical problem(s) has (have) been rectified or cancel the auction and credit all bids back to the user in that particular auction.
 
Notification/Acceptance of the Win/Payment
After the auction has ended, the last bidder i.e. the winner will receive an email from Frogg Bids entitled “you have won an auction” This email contains a link to direct the user to the payment page on the froggybids.co.uk server. Once payment is received the item will be dispatched to the winner bidder’s registered address, with 30 days, although in most cases this will be much less.If we discover any fault or the item has not met the reserve price for the auction we may refund the price you pay + all of the bids made in the auction. Once we have confirmed your win, the status of your win will change in the members area. In the event that the winner has not paid within 4 days the option to purchase the product expires. There is also no entitlement of a refund of any bids used for non payment or losing auctions. 

Void Auctions

Please note that any auctions which are unpaid will be marked against your account and we have the right to refuse future auction wins you may have. Auction may also be void if we suspect robotic bidding taking place by members whom use software to place bids for them.

Suspending members

We WILL suspend any members found using robotic bidding tools to make bids on their behalf. We also request that only 1 bid is made every 5 seconds or this will cause rapid bidding and make the site slower for other members whom are using the site. We appreciate when your bidding it can be time consuming but we will ban you & void any auctions won with robotic tools used.
 
 
Returns
If the User is unable to return to froggybids.co.uk the product received or can only return it in part, or in a depreciated condition, the User will have to pay compensation to Us unless the product proves to be faulty. The customer is required to pay the costs for the return of the item (unless the item is faulty). Should we incur additional costs for insufficient postage on the return of the item; these costs will be deducted from any payment remitted by the customer. Products can only be returned in their entirety.
 
Delivery
Deliveries are made within 30 days in the UK (exclusively on the mainland) although normally within 14 days, although in exceptional circumstances, this may take longer. Any members outside of the UK may have to wait up to 60 days or longer, contact us to confirm this. Please note international shipping charges will be extra and sent via invoice.
We are entitled to substitute an item with a comparable replacement product with at least the same features.
 
Liability
froggybids.co.uk are not liable for faulty operation of the computer system during bid submission and for incorrect or slow transmission of bidding data caused by the internet provider. Should this occur, the bidder will have no legal right to the purchase of the item. Our decision is final.
 
Guarantee/Return policy
The items are supplied fit for any reasonable purpose. The item descriptions are provided to the best of our knowledge in order to provide information to the User. Images of products can, on occasions, differ from the original.
